How you wear a scarf during winter and autumn doesn’t have to be the same because the weather during autumn isn’t as cold. In fact, you should tie your scarf in a way that allows you to enjoy the cool, pleasant weather.

In this article, we will share with you some simple ways to wear a scarf, so that you can add some flair and class to your casual vacation look!

STYLE 1: THE BASIC PULL THROUGH

This is a very quick and easy style. It can be done using various different kinds of scarves.

Drape the scarf around your neck and ensure both ends are of equal length.

Remove the scarf and place the folded end on your shoulder.

Pull the loose ends through the loop.

Tighten or loosen the knot according to your preference.

Note: The length of the scarf is not very important as long as it can be looped around your neck.

STYLE 2: THE KNOT

This look allows you to cover up your neck a little bit more without sacrificing style.

Drape the scarf around your neck and ensure both ends are of equal
length. Then remove the scarf and place the folded end on your shoulder.

Pull the loose ends through the loop.

Then, pull the loose ends under the loop and out.
Make sure the knot isn’t too tight.

Push the loose ends through the new loop.

Pull the loose ends down. You can make the knot
tighter or leave it loose.

STYLE 3: THE BACK DRAPE

This style shifts the focus to one’s back. Who says we should only focus on the front?

Drape the scarf around your neck and ensure both ends
are of equal length.

Then, tie a loose knot by folding the left end over the right.

Turn the scarf around and let it sit on your shoulders.
Make additional twists to the neck area if you prefer.

Back view. If the scarf falls off easily, you can tighten the
knot or pin the scarf at the shoulders with brooches.

STYLE 4: THE PRETZEL

This style is a little bit more fancy then the Basic Pull Through but is still very easy to do.Fold the scarf in half.
At the folded end, make a twist like in the picture.

Drape the scarf around your neck with the folded end on
your shoulder.

Grab a loose end (the end closest to your neck) and pull it
through the loop.

Then, pull the second end under and through the loop.

Tighten the knot and neaten the scarf.

Now it’s your turn to practice and have fun trying out these knots!

Practice makes perfect!
