Although there is not much halal food in Japan, but there are still halal restaurant and shops avaible. The muslims tourist will still have choices to pick when it comes to eat. Ukihashi Japanese Restaurant – Do Not Leave Kyoto Without Eating Halal Kaiseki

Ever wanted to eat Japanese traditional food? If you are going to Kyoto, don’t forget to taste halal Kaiseki ryori at Ukihashi Japanese restaurant located at Granvia Hotel Kyoto. 3 days early reservation is needed. Kaiseki is a various traditional Japanese dish originated in Kyoto from the tea ceremony in 16 century. In the early time, it was just a few simple dish but now it had become complicated stail of dish. The Japanese usually serve Kaiseki ryori in special occassion.

Prawn and vegetable tempura with light soy sauce.

Beef, mushroom and vegetables are grilled perfectly with butter. The sweet sauce and the butter completed the tasted.

Vegetables (toufu and pumpkin) with seafood (cockle and eel) are steam in Tajin pot and served with Vinegarette soy.

Toufu marinade with special sauce. The texture is quite thick.

Rice served with chicken meat and soup.

Anmitsu Japanese traditional dessert. Inside of it contains sweet red bean, jelly and fruits served with black sugar syrup.

Another restaurant in Granvia Hotel Kyoto which served halal food at Kyoto. All the menus including the children menu are served during lunch or dinner without reservation.

The ala carte menu include halal beef steak with teriyaki sos, grilled chicken with teriyaki sos and halal beef hamburger with the choices of 3 sauce (salsa, tomato and mayonnaise).

Delicious children menu set include soup, salad, fried rice, fried prawn, beef hamburger with teriyaki sauce, omelette and fruits mocktail.

The traditional bento box looks great with halal teriyaki meat, prawn tempura, grilled fish with cheese, salad, rice, miso soup and fruit mocktail.

Gyumon Restaurant – Delicious Yakiniku For Dinner

If you are going to Tokyo, it’s a must to eat at Gyumon Restaurant for halal Yakiniku. The grilled meat (beef and offal) usually served with vegetables and very suitable to have it for dinner.

Charcoal Grilled Beef

The beef will be marinated with peppers and salt. Yakiniku usually are grilled using charcoal. So the fun is you can be your own chef to grilled your own meat.

There are different sets of the dish to try. Balance your meal with salad too. Besides beef, why not try the chicken grilled as well? There is always a nice grilled meat for all.
